Our work centers on understanding how infants, children, and families learn, think, feel, and relate to one another, and what shapes those changes over time. Through this work, we hope to meaningfully inform conversations about how we can best support children and the people who care for them.

Our research seeks to deepen understanding of how children and families grow together through rigorous, transparent science. Our goal is to use this knowledge to help create environments that better support the well-being of children, caregivers, and families.
We view families as trusted partners and essential contributors to the knowledge we build together. Our work is guided by five core values:

We are committed to building a culture of mentorship, collaboration, and growth. Together, we strive to think deeply about the biological, social, emotional, and cognitive forces that shape development within a community grounded in integrity, curiosity, and care. We believe excellent science is built by people who feel empowered to ask bold questions and contribute to the communities around them.
